Beijing

From Hong Kong we flew to Beijing for two nights, a city which was deep in preparations for the imminent 2008 Olympics.
The day we went to the Forbidden City it was a national holiday, so it was absolutely flooded with people who had come from all over the country to visit Beijing. It was nice to see, but it was very crowded in parts, for such a big place.
We also visited a nearby section of the Great Wall. You've got to really, haven't you?
