As I entered Wakehurst Parkway beside the Narrabeen Lakes, I saw the crimson glow of sunrise. I drove down the road to the lookout at the Western end of the lake, knowing I didn't really have time to stop.
I pulled up in the gravelled carpark, took out my tripod, quickly set up and took 6 exposures.
I was extremely happy with the shots, so I took my camera off the tripod and turned it off. I looked up to appreciate the view again and, puff, the sky had turned grey! This beautiful scene lasted less than 2 minutes!
Photography Lesson: Always carry you camera.
Life Lesson: Appreciate what you have, when you have it.
This pic looks way cooler On Black
