buried copper 1

another encaustic project for my online class... i used the torch on a strip of copper to create some color variations; then i cut it with a die cut. i put white wax on one side of the board and green on the other... then pressed the copper strip into the wax before adding a clear coat of wax and then fusing. i then added some marks to the green side and rubbed some color into them... (a little hello to #21 of the seattle mariners in the upper right hand corner!)

Done
