Snapper Storm
Snapper Rocks Sunrise, Gold Coast - Australia
On arrival to the beach, it was still pretty dark. I went for a walk and tried to find something completely unique to the usual shots you see taken from the rock shelf at Snapper.
As soon as I stumbled upon this small, aqua coloured pond, I knew this was the shot. I spent the next 20 or so minutes trying to perfect the scene and by using a darker than normal neutral density filter, I was able to create a darker, more menacing looking sky.
