Tape to Tape Editing
A blast from the past; Editing at home c.1984
It's obviously tape-to-tape and, in this case, analogue Betacam (not even SP) to High Band U-Matic - using the front panel of the BVU as an edit controller. There's a VEL vision minimixer in the middle (presumably just for fades to/from black) - a waveform/vectorscope top right of the stack and a portable VHS machine (top left of the stack) for making client copies and monitoring the sound. Curiously, the top monitor - a B&W Sony receiver/monitor is somewhere in my loft. The rest is hired and all of it is history.
And the location; my bedroom at Sumatra Road (before Lina moved in, obvs)
