So while I was out taking the previous shot, a couple of young guys came up to see what I was doing. We got to talking, the way you do... I knew what was coming of course, due to the way they were dressed and their means of conveyance (bikes).

I've gotta say, it was pretty interesting - I didn't know much about the book of mormon, so I found it an education. Frankly, I don't believe in much other than the innate goodness of people, but I'm always interested in what other people believe. Up until tonight, my main source of knowledge of the LDS church was that episode of south park - although it was hilarious of course, it didn't go too far into what their actual beliefs are.

Anyway, the outcome of it is they gave me a copy of the book of mormon, which I will actually read (I've read a good chunk of the bible, so why not this?).

 

I also want to say hi to the parents of Elder Chelson, all the way over there in Idaho, as I'm told they'll be keen to see a recent photo of their son... hi!
