Deets Carroll sighs, "Empty again. What are people DRINKING?"
Jaina Lefevre grumps. "Dunno, but I hope you're happy. I'm out, okay?" She plops on the stool and spins it with a foot.
Jaina Lefevre looks up at Quentin as he comes in and kicks the stool base again, spinning around. She's got on her BlackStar t'shirt - what all the 'cool kids' should be wearing!
Deets Carroll smiles, "Good afternoon! What can I get you?"
Quentin Morrisey looks at Jaina and smiles. "Well how's it going there!?" he smiles to Deets. "A water please.. Ah've been busy all day."
Deets Carroll nods, "Coming up!" she rounds the bar and quickly pulls a cold bottle from the cooler, cracking the top and passing it over.
Quentin Morrisey smiles and takes the water and pays Deets. "Thanks!" he would crack the bottle and drink.
Jaina Lefevre looks up at Quentin and then to Deets. "You know him, Mom?" She looks at Quentin again. "Do I know you or something?"
Deets Carroll shakes her head. "I've seen him around, but..." she shrugs.
Quentin Morrisey smiles to Jaina. "No Ya dun'. but ah know yer mom.. ah'm a friend of hers.. Mah name's Quentin.."
Jaina Lefevre glances at Deets, then at Quentin. "My -other- Mom? Got some ID?" Yeah, real trustworthy kid.
Quentin Morrisey chuckles. "Ah'd expect no less from Deb's daughter." he produces his BMS ID.
Deets Carroll gives Jaina an exasperated look. "I'm sorry. She's being difficult."
Quentin Morrisey smiles to Deets. "S'ok There's nothign wrong with being paranoid.. it's healthy in this town."
Jaina Lefevre takes it and looks it over, angling it and then nods, handing it back. "Sorry, but ya gotta be careful, y'know? I'm Jaina. Nice to meet you, sir." She looks at Deets. "I'm being CAREFUL. Last BMS guy that decided to be friendly was an assbag."
Quentin Morrisey takes his ID back. "Totally understandable, Ah worked with your mother as well as Ro and Jenna."
Deets Carroll sighs to Jaina, "What did ID have to do with it? You KNEW who he was. If you want to do it right, why not come out and ask for proof he's not an assba -- a jerk?" She shakes her head and mutters. "Jeezus, now she's got ME doing it."
Quentin Morrisey looks at Deets.. then Jaina.. then deets. "Ah'm not an assbag. Ah'm one of the good guys."
Jaina Lefevre: "Yeah...Simon said that too." Jaina replies. "And I didn't know until I seen the ID Mom. I ain't met him before." She shrugs and leans on the bar. "Can I have a cherry coke please?"
Quentin Morrisey: "Actually.. Simon is kinda a dick."
Deets Carroll gives up on the child's logic -- for a precocious kid, it's easy to expect her to be brighter, sometimes. She quickly fixes a cherry coke and sets it on the bar..
Jaina Lefevre grins at Quentin and offers a fist to bump. "That's it! See? I wasn't wrong. And his girlfriend is a total skankypants. She makes kids think they can do stuff they can't. And she only picks the stupid ones."
Deets Carroll raises an eyebrow. Skankypants. That's a keeper.
Quentin Morrisey: "Who's his Girlfriend?" he bumps fists with jaina.
Jaina Lefevre: "Jenna bear said it was Parx's kid and that I should feel sorry for her 'cause it's genetics. I think she just needs a good kick in the ...rear end. With spiked boots."
Quentin Morrisey: "Ah'm not surprised.. she wanted me ta shoot mahself ta prove ah wasn't a demon."
Jaina Lefevre takes a swallow of her cherry coke and giggles. "Should'a shot her. Tell her you're not a demon but she's a moron?"
Quentin Morrisey: "tried that. she wasn't convinced. sides at the time ah was a probie."
Deets Carroll lips curve. "Or just a smart demon/"
Quentin Morrisey: "Problem is.. mah tail and ears." he waves his tail around
Jaina Lefevre looks at him confused. "Why is that a problem? Rai's got them too."
