4/52 — I made a flash

Lighting
A homemade flash, the one you can see in the frame.
But how?!
I cut up an old not-even-manual flash from the 70s and put it in a powerade bottle. The aluminium reflector is one I've had for a while, I don't remember where it came from. I think it's from a party strobe or something, rather than a lamp. It has a front flange that makes me think it was designed to be panel-mounted.
Oh coooool
Sorta... I say "not-even-manual" because there are no adjustments whatsoever — it's full-power, all the time.
More lighting
There's also an SB-900 on optical-slave mode, sitting on the floor. It's snooted and pointed at the DIY flash so that you can see it. Because I CARE. The main flash is triggered by a poverty wizard, which at the moment is built into the flash itself.
Completely wireless, powered by 2x AA batteries. I might try and increase that to 4 or 6 to get the 30 sec recycle times down a bit!
