Lazarillo de Tormes

Sculpture of the personages of a Spanish novel “The Life of Lazarillo de Tormes and of His Fortunes and Adversities”. The novel was published anonymously because of its heretical content. After Lazaro’s stepfather is accused of thievery, his mother asks a blind beggar take the young boy on as his apprentice.
