Burncrooks Reservoir, Auchineden. Stirlingshire. Scotland.
Burncrooks reservoir is part of the Scottish Water-managed drinking water network in the Kilpatrick Hills in West Dunbartonshire, which are northwest of City of Glasgow. I was surprised on my recent visit to the reservoir to find that the water level was very low, allowing some small islets to be seen, and the north end sluice arches visible where the water level would be normaly.
