Eilean Gorm “The green isle” sits at the western end of Loch Ard close to the village of Kinlochard in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park Scotland. Loch Ard is one Scotland’s smaller lochs and one of the most picturesque with its sheltered location allowing an ideal spot for kayaking and water sports and visits to the tree covered “Eilean Gorm” Isle in the picture” This photo was taken whilst I recently walked the 7.5mile circuit of the “Kinlochard and Crannog walk” which gives you plenty of advantage points along the route to stop and admire the calm waters of the loch and surrounding mountains.
