"Stay Back!"

These are farm cats. There are about 20 cats living on the grounds at the produce farm down the road that I have been documenting since February. A couple of ladies bring them canned cat food every day. Some of the cats are approachable and some aren't.

 

Obviously this one didn't want me to get any closer. During the course of the Summer people come by the produce stand, see a cat they like, and adopt it.

 

I made this image with my Pentax K5 and Pentax 18-135mm lens. Processing was with Aperture 3 and PS CS5.
