Surprise!

...instead of framing another matching wallpaper sample, the place patiently awaiting to be filled, is now inhabited by a round wooden bowl.

 

I love the fact that its three dimensional, participating in an otherwise two dimensional "construction" and that there is theme, as much as chromatic relevance, as the two samples are picturing tree barks.
