Sulenko-class Gunship

Designed by pirates, the Sulenko class is completely illegal, ignores all design rules and specifications and lacks much refinement.

 

Spanning the role of fighter and bomber quite neatly, the three man ship is vacuum and at-mo capable and rather rugged, to boot.

 

Forward facing ion cannons can disable and make inert all but the largest of freighters. Wing-mounted dumbfire 'Stinger' rocket pods give the ship a destructive ability rarely rivalled.

 

Faster than similar sized ships, the Sulenko class has a complicated engine suite, and the power core is especially fuel hungry.

 

Only two ships of this design, owned by the Pirate Lord Deckard, are known to exist. Never venturing to the Core Worlds, there are no complete scans of the ship. Rumours abound as to any hidden gadgets, devices or surprises specific to either ship.

 

Crew: 3 (with room for 4 more passengers/prisoners)

Weaponry: 2 x Ion Cannons, forward facing. 2 x 'Stinger' Rocket pods, wing-mounted.

Defence: Sensor-phobic, heat absorbing durasteel plating. Self-cycling PriTek shields.
