I’ve come to believe that often the drawings in the American southwest were done to channel and mitigate the awe one feels in response to the powers of the surrounding universe....

 

My photography is a similar attempt, a gesture of faith. The marks and photographs form a link, however slight and human, between our mortality and the continuance around us :-)
