Upgrades of Woodside Crematorium
Upgrading of the crematorium is scheduled to begin in April 2029 and be compete by October 2019.

Replacing two existing creators with two bariatric cremators and installing mercury abatement equipment.
Access to the Crematorium during work
During the contract period, access will be limited in certain areas surrounding the crematorium, as the contractors has to ensure their work is carries out in a safe manner and members of the public are excluded from the designated contractors compound.
Access to the Book of Remembrance and Memorial Gardens
During the work, the public will still be able to access the memorial Gardens and view the Book of Remembrance. Routes to and from the Crematorium and Memorial Gardens will be clearly signposted on site. Pleas be aware the there will be a small construction compound next to the crematorium and consequently there will be occasions where there are construction works and traffic.
