A comparison
Hello,
I don't usually do stuff like this, I'm not one to engage in anything that may cause drama.. but it's come to my attention that some people seem to think that my dolls are completely Photoshopped and that kind of upsets me, so I thought I'd post this comparison.
LEFT PHOTO
The left photo I edited a bit to show a proper comparison.
Here is what I did:
It is brightened the same amount as the photo on the right in Lightroom (the whole photo, not the doll. I like to take my photos very dark and then brighten them in an attempt to keep as much detail as possible). This is what the right photo looked like before.
The eyeballs are brightened and shine is added (just the inserted glass eyeball itself, nothing else), this is for a better comparison.
RIGHT PHOTO (FINAL RESULT)
On the right photo, the background looks slightly different because I played with the distortion of the photo, this is so the doll sat better in the frame and so the focus was more on Ritsu rather than the surroundings. This time I added a few more upper eyelashes because I ran out of nice ones then I added the Photoshop actions for nice light.
So yeah, most of my editing is lighting, not the doll itself.
Have a nice day.
