Within the halls of power that was Sovereign's seat of government, a member of the Alternity found his opposite number.

 

"Why? I hear that you were instrumental in convincing Megatron to go along with the Open city. Why?" Master Lord said.

 

"You want a direct answer from me? You know the cost of that," Megatron said.

 

"A game?" Master Lord said, "Not a chance. The last game you proposed wiped the Alternity from existence."

 

"And yet, here we still are, Two interdimensional beings interacting through these auto-avatars, as if nothing had changed."

 

"Im not playing a game with you."

 

"Then let me say this," Megatron said, "we have both seen our world destroyed countless times. Perhaps, this time, even I have tired of the eternal carnage."

 

"I don't believe you," Master Lord said, but Megatron just laughed.
