SX-70 mod in progress
I decided to document my modification of the Polaroid SX-70 Sonar camera that Bela gave me for Christmas. This image shows my set-up for working on the changes described here.
Popping the ring and the original filter off was easier than I expected, and getting the new one to stay in with the ring in place was much harder.
Now I'm going to attempt some trial photos outside during the day and hope that I don't need to do any more changes.
Update: I've since replaced the jewel-case plastic with a thinner, but still strong, piece from a clear plastic report cover. It's similar to overhead transparency but a little thicker, and it fits much better than the jewel-case plastic.
