The Plötzensee Memorial to the Victims of National Socialism from Germany and abroad is a place of silent remembrance.

Between 1933 and 1945, more than 2,800 people were executed here following unjust verdicts of the Nazi judiciary. The room where the executions took place is now a memorial room. In the room next to it, a permanent exhibition commemorates all the victims of National Socialist injustice murdered here.

The Plötzensee memorial was the first post war site of remembrance of national socialist injustice,in Berlin, was inaugurated in 1952.
