Snugglers Cove

Navagio beach or Shipwreck beach or sometimes referred to as Smugglers Cove, and I take it a step further and refer to it as Snugglers Cove. If it weren't for all the tourists during the day, this would be a great place to snuggle so to speak. This beach is very secluded and can only be reached by boat unless you have the bravery to base jump, scale the cliffs, or have a helicopter drop you in. This is by far one of the scariest photos I have ever taken. I did not realize how frightened I was of heights until I peered over the edge to take this picture. There is a spot with a railing where one can take a photograph safely even in strong wind, but this position has no railing. When you look over the edge it is straight down. One slip of the footing, one strong gust of wind, or even a loose rock can cost you your life. It was exhilarating though. Quite a rush. This is a definite must see located on the beautiful island of Zakynthos or Zante as some call it, in the Ionian island chain of the beautiful country of Greece.
