Beaver at Reinstein

We took a little drive out to Reinstein today. It was such a beautiful spring day that I felt my day would have been incomplete if I wasted it indoors. We arrived about 30-40 minutes before sunset so didn't have much time to walk around.

We saw several amazing things in that short amount of time, though! I was chased by a father goose because I was getting too close to his lady goose's nest, which I was completely unaware of. We saw several goose fights, and two new duck species. One lone duck was a female Bufflehead and the others were a group of Lesser Scaups.

And then we saw a bunch of beavers swimming around - the most I've ever seen :)

Looking forward to going again soon!
