Pentacon Hall
This (ugly) building is part of camera history. It's called the Pentacon Hall and used to be the place, where political prisoners in the GDR had to produce for Pentacon. Namely Praktica and Exa(cta) cameras had to be deburred here. There was no work safety, injuries were normal sometimes even amputations which where not treated.
Today it's part of the Cottbus Prison Memorial. In Cottbus were mainly political prisoners jailed.
