Ruins dot the Kingsmere estate, which was the summer residence of William Lyon Mackenzie King, Canada's 10th prime minister. They came from the old Westminster Parliament building in London, after it had been bombed by Germany during World War II, and the Canadian Parliament building which burned down in 1916.
When he died, he left the estate to Canada, and it is now part of Gatineau Park in Quebec, across the river from Ottawa.
This is an HDR image created from three separate exposures. I did some additional toning in Photoshop.
