IPFW-Basketball-Team-86-87
The IPFW Men's Basketball Team, 1986-87, with coach Tim Russell. Until 1988 IPFW never adopted official colors, leaving sports teams free to use whatever colors were convenient. In the late '60s the teams used blue and white because they got a good deal on a load of blue and white uniforms. In the early '70s the athletic director decided to use a hybrid of IU and Purdue colors and ordered crimson and gold uniforms.
