Random at Lunch
Brushes app. I have been doing a lot of quick random sketches with Brushes. I enjoy trying to capture as much as I can as quickly as possible. Because I am drawing random people, the possibility that they are going to get up and walk away keeps me on my toes.
I like brushes because of it's simplicity. When I do these sketches, I like to start with a simple sketch using real thin brush, usually set on 2. I then create a layer beneath the initial sketch and using a broader brush with low opacity, fill in the shading. The background is added using another layer beneath.
This sketch was done in approximately 10 minutes.
