MOW Standard Hut, Fearn Airfield (Example B)
A variety of MOW Standard Huts remain on the RAF and latterly RNAS airfield at Fearn. They all appear to be the 18ft 6in span, as opposed to the larger 24ft span buildings.
Commonality of type is in the reinforced concrete frame of bolted ribs and posts. Designed to be used with any suitable cladding material, this appears to have been the case here. At Fearn the walls and gables vary in construction from what appear to be prefabricated Seco panels (example C), clay blocks (exampls B gable end),
