4-D4 Recon & Fighter Craft

Two days, two builders, one element. @simons.starwarsmocs (Instagram) and myself challenged each other to a build a spaceship using the large bubble canopy element (50986/10312). We each had exactly 48 hours to design and upload.

 

I opted for a Mars Mission themed build as I've always had a soft spot for the orange, black and white colour scheme. I also wanted to try my hand at a 'sunfish' type spaceship which are typically woefully impractical, upright flying, semi-cirles that never the less look awesome in my eyes.
