Star Wars Ring-worlds: Lothal Highway Terminal (2)
"Following the crippling siege of Lothal, Ryder Azadi's newly organised rebel band continue the work of phoenix cell to oppose the empire on the planet's surface"
I didn't plan on making another 'ring world' so soon and I'll be honest, the only reason I ended up doing this scene was to finally put those lampposts to use. I had intended this to be a much smaller vignette of just a road the speeder but the idea grew and grew and before I knew it, I was placing approximately 1300 individual olive green cheese slopes onto baseplates... but only because olive green stem pieces are way too expensive!. Ether way I hope the effect was worth the effort :)
In any case, this is the fourth build in my Star Wars Ring-worlds project. This time I opted for a smaller scale which was a nice change for me having only attempted minifig scaled dioramas so far. I've also obviously stretched the term 'ring' for the sake of having the roadway but its my project and my rules so there ;D
