Charlotte Murchison (1788 – 1869)

A colouring-in illustration of Charlotte Murchison, based on the public domain photograph from 1860.

 

It also incorporates an interpretation the drawing by Murchison depicting a cross-section of land, lying between the Bristol Channel and Jura.

 

Charlotte Murchison was a British geologist and pioneer of geological research and fossil hunting.
