The Soloist

I spent around 15 minutes this particular morning paddling around and photographing this cypress tree. This tree had a lot of character with its slight lean and well-articulated branches. Best of all it stood out in front of the wall of cypress trees lining the waterway. Paddling around in these serene misty conditions has been one of my greatest experiences in the bayou and hopefully I’ll make it back another day for some more swamp therapy.
