Stairs to Enchantment
Spring this year was not a memorable season for the rolling hills out west. The drought took its toll and the hills never quite reached peak green before browning out to yellow grass once again. I managed to get out once to fly over these hills that I had scouted out. Although the greens did not quite have that lush velvety look of past years, the contours of these treeless hills were better than I expected. Coupled with the first light of day, these rolling hills seemed to go on forever.
