Lone Juniper

I typically avoid the iconic scenes but with patchy clouds above and no one else around, I decided to give the scene a try. The juniper surely has a photogenic appeal with its arching bonsai-like shape. Though beautiful, I was a bit surprised to find the tree standing far shorter than I had anticipated. Despite the forecasts of cloudless skies, I ended up lucky to get clouds streaming in almost every day.
