Hunter's Moon / Full Moon Moonset over the Lincoln Memorial
Sunday morning's full moon / hunter's moon moonset at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
tech details: I used PhotoPills to plot the descent of the moon so it would be positioned as you see above. The moon was still much brighter than the memorial so I also blended two exposures taken four minutes apart. First, I captured the moon centered over the memorial. Then I took a low ISO foreground shot after the moon had dropped below the memorial.
