Holly Blue larvae

This is a Holly Blue caterpillar, I have been meaning to upload this for a couple of weeks.

You can still find them on Ivy buds now, they are hard to see at first but once you've seen one, it get's easier!

The thing to look for are bite marks or frass (poo) on the buds. The chrysalis will over-winter and hatch in Spring.
