GM buses 3273 D273 JVR

Greater Manchester Buses Limited 3273 D273 JVR, a Leyland Olympian ONLXB/1R built 1986 with a Northern Counties CH43/26F body on Bury New Road in Whitefield by the junction with Wilton Street with a limited stop 90 service to Manchester. Friday 26th April 1991

 

Note, D273 JVR was ordered by the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive but delivered new to Greater Manchester Buses Limited with the fleet number 3273 due to bus deregulation. It was transferred to Greater Manchester Buses North Limited on 1st April 1994. Greater Manchester Buses North Limited became part of FirstBus plc in March 1996, and was renamed First Manchester Limited on 6th May 1998. D273 JVR was transferred to First PMT Limited around the same time that it was renumbered 30092 in FirstGroup plc’s national numbering scheme introduced in late 2002

 

It carried a BY sticker showing it was allocated to Bury depot
