Kirkjufell
Mt Kirkjufell and Kirkjufellsfoss (waterfall) in west Iceland in green hue's after a geomagnetic storm.
To capture this you need a tripod, good low light camera or/and and fast wide lens.
In this case I used a Canon 5d3 and a 14mm f2.8 Rokinon lens at f2.8, Iso 12800 and 18 sec.
The auroras vary in brightness from being barley visible to lighting up your surroundings so there is no universal camera setting that works all the time. Sometimes the lights are so intense that you need to dial down the sensitivity of your camera so not to burn out the highlights.
