Indofunk Satish
Gato Loco
Minolta SR-T102
Kodak Gold 400 @ 1600
Unicolor C41 5min
More successful color pushing! In-date Kodak Gold 400 (aka Ultramax, obtainable for a wallet-friendly $3.50 a roll) pushed to ISO 1600, and developed in standard C41 for 5 minutes. This is actually 30 seconds LESS than I developed my last couple of color pushes, mostly because I forgot to check my notes, but it was completely sufficient. In fact, I even dialed back the highlights in this one a bit.
For all of you "can't use film in low light conditions" naysayers, here's the world's cheapest current-production color film delivering GREAT results at 1600. Pair that with a 1.8 lens and you can shoot almost anything. And definitely better than digital, at any rate...
