Tottenham Court Road Station

London's Crossrail project, to create a rail line directly connecting London in the East-West/West-East direction has been complete. The line has now opened and has been named the Elizabeth Line, in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Trains stop at every station between Shenfield, in the east, and Reading or Heathrow Airport, in the west. One of these stations is Tottenham Court Road station in central London. The entrance has been built on Oxford Street, slightly away from the entrance other the other underground railway lines of Tottenham Court Road Station. The internal of building has spacious and minimalist design.

This picture is of the curved wall that sweeps up into the ceiling in one glorious and gentle movement. The panels rise into the heights of grandeur. While the color of these, in the station is white, I have imagine that, in the future, the color will change as dust, sweat, and fumes build up on the surface. This will bring out the vibrant colors that can be seen in this finished architectural abstract picture.
