Macy's always gets carried away for the holiday
One thing that I hadn't done yet during the Christmas season when it came time for Christmas evening (not in the drunk tank as my favorite holiday song puts someone) was stop by and see the Macy's theme.
On DILO, I was very near to the Macy's but the crowds scared me away a bit.
The good thing about going downtown on Christmas each year is that while there are still people out, there are not throngs blocking the windows.
This year's theme in the Macy's window was "The Nutcracker."
Even though it was Christmas, the suite was playing at full volume and since there was no sound competing with it, it could be heard over a block away.
