Miracle. There really is no other word to describe it. Massive and monstrous hurricane Milton would have decimated the Tampa region. But the eye wall collapsing when and where it did, and landfall being slightly south, made the difference. There’s only a few miles gap in landfall between experiencing some new wind damage added to Helene’s destructive damages vs our homes being destroyed and inundated.
Thankfully Milton is missing from this moment. So grateful. Magnificent. Morning. Miracle.
