Vivid Parachute Flies Over Blue Waves & Black Waters, Across Flaming Red & Melting Gold Sunset Sky, At Tampa Bay Florida - IMRAN™
With the multi-layered clouds gliding past Apollo Beach with wild winds from the cold north blowing past the area shuddering in what after all is winter even in Florida, I knew the likelihood of some spectacular sunset colors was high. It was very windy, perfect for a brave soul to go parasurfing, or whatever the activity should be called. I happened to look out the kitchen doors on the pool deck and saw a gorgeous parasail/parachute/kite passing right in front of the sun. I literally whipped around, grabbed the Nikon D850, with no time to change the settings from whatever they were from my last use, slid open the door with one hand while turning on the camera with the other. Striding past the pool, balancing the camera in one hand and uncovering the lens with the other, I managed to frame the parachute just in time. I was able to capture its vivid orange-red colors turn into an even more stunning silhouette edged prop across the flaming gold and red sunset colors spanning across the bay, bathed in its own strangely linear patches of red, blue and even almost black tinged shaded areas. Seeing this on a larger screen will give you an idea of the breathtaking detail and color tones. I hope you enjoy viewing this image as much as I loved living in that moment.
