30in30-14: when it's time, it's time
for the "30 secrets in 30 days" group: it's not a secret that i have some trouble getting to sleep. the funny thing is that when it's finally time to sleep, i have the unique cat-like ability to let myself fall asleep just about anywhere. during parties in college if a bunch of us were crashing somewhere and there was nowhere else to sleep, i would just lay down on the linoleum floor and snooze. i have also fallen asleep for the night curled up in a wooden chair, and i have taken a nap under a desk.
one of my favorite ways to fall asleep is in a direct beam of sunlight. i often find it more soothing than falling alseep in the dark...
