I have always said i'd never do self portraiture, and yet here I am! My model was busy all week and I just had to get this idea down before I lost inspiration... so an impromptu shoot with a helping hand and a cheap tripod had to do!

This image came from the idea that some people live their life in goodness trying to make their way into heaven, or the after life. And so I wanted to portray this desperate need to get there, with a hand-made sheet, as if she is pulling herself up there.
