RGB Strobe Test- Red channel only
Here's a shot using an RGB stroboscope system we've put together over the past few days. The object being photographed is a spinning helix made from flat disks stacked up like steps on a spiral staircase. The helix is mounted to the hub of a muffin fan.
The lighting system uses three individual analog pulse-width modulation (PWM) circuits that each drive one of the RGB color channels. The system under test is using 1 watt Luxeon LEDs- the drivers can source up to 6.5 amps at up to 35 VDC, so a lot of LEDs can be driven at once, if desired.
