Fractal Ammonite 1
What (sort of) appears to be a fossilized ammonite shell is actually a Photoshop trick using a single image and repeating it many times while rotating and shrinking. In this case, the original image was one of the "plasma disk" images seen elsewhere on my photostream. Desaturation and lighting effects were applied to create the look of stone.
