Gravestone of Carrie Andrews

In September 1865, while John was traveling in New England, his daughter Carrie Matilda died of dysentery. He was not present for the funeral, which was conducted by Uriah Smith. At the time Uriah was in Dansville with the White’s who were patients of Dr. James C. Jackson.
