William Miller home

When you visit the Miller’s home, be sure to look at the interesting exhibits. There are several original pieces of furniture and other artifacts that belonged to William Miller. The bed and a few chairs are original as are two paintings—one of William (in the bedroom) and the other of Lucy (in the parlor). An original 1843 prophetic chart also hangs in Miller’s bedroom. The furniture in the parlor belonged to William Miller’s daughter, Lucy Bartholomew. In the exhibit area be sure to see the small oval painting on ivory of William Miller with a lock of his auburn hair. This image was probably made about the time Miller entered military service. There are many other original items that have been donated by descendants of William Miller.
