On This Day: April 23rd 2004
In celebration of my birthday, here is one of my early attempts at rescuing a nothing photo using Photoshop 5. That program opened up a whole new world of frustrating challenges, a steep learning curve and wonderful possibilities to me. It also extended my horizons and broadened my experience of photography; I've never looked back.
The original shot was a snap of a man on a jetski, it was poorly composed and the horizon sloped impossibly to the left. It's still not a good shot, but I'm happy to own it in acknowledgement of how far I've come.
