A sign of hope
A sign of hope - So it’s eventually come to this. The extended and continued lockdown conditions have forced me to resort to considering locations that, until recently, I would never have thought I’d be returning to for new material again.
During a recent regular local evening walk, the silhouette of Pendle Hill against the dusk sky together with the last remnants of light, once again provided the ideal and dramatic backdrop for the Annel Cross fingerpost. So here it is; an impromptu and spontaneous retake of the ‘new’ black and white retro fingerpost sited up on the atmospheric moor at Annel Cross.
Hopefully we’ll start the first tentative steps back to normality in a couple of weeks’ time and soon we’ll be able to visit the locations we’ve been yearning for all this time. And then I won’t have to resort to having to have another crack at this again!
